Orville and Wilbur Wright, American inventors and aviation pioneers, achieved the first powered, sustained, and controlled flight of an airplane. It was in 1906 when they were issued a patent for this invention from the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO). There are 10 documents included with this patent.
