John W. Ryan ~ 1959

       The Barbie doll was invented in 1959 by Ruth Handler (co-founder of Mattel), This patent was issued to Mr. John W. Ryan who was the designer that developed Barbie under the direction of Ms. Handler. It was in 1961 when Mr. Ryan was issued a patent for this invention from the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO). There are 3 documents included with this patent.
