Coca~Cola Bottle

This bottle was invented specifically for Coca-Cola by the Root Glass Company of Terre Haute, Indiana. They modeled the bottle after a cocoa bean. It is the first Coca-Cola bottle featuring the contour shape, acclaimed as "The World's Most Famous Package." In 1915 Mr. Samuelson, staff member of the Root Glass Company, was issued a patent for this design from the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO). There are 2 documents The drawing specification sheet of the patent has been reproduced from original USPTO documents and printed onto parchment paper.
